Interested in yoga but scared to take that first step into the studio?

Come join Bonnie to discover WHO can do yoga, WHAT is the best way to get into poses, WHEN is the best class to take as a beginner, WHERE you can find a safe space to practice, WHY we do yoga, and HOW to practice yoga! This class is also a perfect refresher for the more seasoned yogi.

No yoga experience necessary, all levels are welcome!

Class 1:

We will discover the importance of not only physical practice, but the benefits of breath-work, mindfulness and meditation. We will begin discussion on basic poses and the importance of personal alignment and why yoga props are beneficial. We will also be discussing the importance of establishing a weekly Sabbath and Rest.

Class 2:
We will continue building on basic poses and their variations and modifications including Sun Salutations. Breath-work will be used to enhance the experience of the physical shapes.

Please note:
These two weeks build on each other so please commit to attending both sessions if possible. No discounts, credits or refunds will be issued if you need to miss a session.

Not new to yoga, but would like a refresher on the fundamentals? You are welcome to join.
