GET TO KNOW YOUR 4:8 TEACHERS⁠ ~⁠ ~⁠ ~⁠ @r GET TO KNOW YOUR 4:8 TEACHERS⁠ ~⁠ ~⁠ ~⁠ @rethinkyogawithmegan⁠ Yoga is work for me. Soul work. Body work. Mental work. I am not an instructor that gets out of bed every day and does a flow. But yoga is apart of my day to day life. Yoga helps my anxiety, yoga helps my joints, yoga helps my muscles, yoga helps my heart. Whether I am using poses to help a coworker or family member that is feeling tight or breath work to get through a deadline. It’s there in the background, because it’s apart of me.⁠ The very best part of my yoga ‘work’ or practice is being an instructor, I’m nervous until the very first cue. Every. Time. But holding a safe space for my students to get to their work is the greatest feeling at the end of a class. Soul work. Body work. Mental work. Whatever you need you will find on your mat if you show up with an open heart and mind. Sometimes work on your mat will look like sweat, laughter, tears, silence.
