Hello 4:8 Community,
Over the past couple weeks, we’ve been basing our decisions, and taking proactive measures to keep you and our teachers safe, using the CDC and Yoga Alliance guidelines. We believe the time has come to take the recommendations a step further. After much consideration and prayer for everyone’s well being, myself along with the other 4:8 instructors, have decided to close the studio from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 29.
In light of what is happening around the world, I truly believe, it is the most responsible thing to do right now.
While we plan on resuming classes on March 30, please check our website and social media for up-to-date information:

In regards to your membership—we’ve always sought to keep yoga accessible and affordable to everyone by operating 4:8 on a thin profit margin. There’s no doubt that our little studio will face significant financial challenges during this time. I humbly ask, if you are in any position to do so, to please keep your memberships active to help the studio cover rent and all the other small business operating expenses. When the crisis passes, we intend to make up for this closure by offering workshops, and yoga series at no cost to our members.
All 3 week, 1 month and 3 month passes will be extended and honored.
While we are a close, tight knit, face to face community, a handful of our 4:8 instructors, (including myself) will be brave and offer some online (gulp) classes and meditations for our members. Please understand, these videos and recordings will not be at professional level, but rather an invitation into our home and personal practice. Mess and all.
This is community.
We’ve seen each other through challenging times before…we are indeed lucky in the sense that we have each other. If anyone can survive this, Studio 4:8 Yoga can.
With all my love, grace, and grit,
Bonnie
