Learn to observe and support the body through the practice of restorative yoga. Deepen your practice and enrich your teachings with the skills necessary to incorporate restorative yoga in your classes. Restorative yoga is a health-giving practice that creates balance, nurtures the connection to our Creator, and is suitable for all. This training is open to yoga teachers and dedicated students alike.
In this training you will learn:
-What Restorative yoga is
-The importance of Sabbath and rest
-Who can benefit from Restorative yoga
-Teaching Techniques
-The art of propping
-How to sequence a class
-Creating a theme or class focus
-Guiding meditation, visualization, and imagery
-Pranayama in Restorative yoga
-The Business of Restorative yoga
-Hands on experience assisting
-Includes manual
Schedule:
Friday September 20th 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday September 21st 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
*Additional opportunity to assist in a 4:8 restorative yoga class
